So, apparently my book was shortlisted for the Golden Eagle Award, "an Alberta children's choice accolade". Whatever the heck that is. I just found out about that from the media release that I was sent, (no one tells me anything) BECAUSE I'm finally having a book launch on Saturday, February 11th at a place called "Where Fairies Live". How lovely. I've never been, so I hope it's a nice place. I've been assigned a new publicist, and she's THE woman to get things done. Oh, and I'm supposed to write a sequel. Hmmm. We'll see.
So, if you are in Edmonton on February 11th I could really use a friendly face or two in the (well, I wont say crowd because I hope ANYONE shows up) place.
