This, is why I love my life, why I will always be broke, why I sometimes worry I am a bad mom.
I will be leaving for a 56 hour long bus ride on April 17th. Ya. 56 hours ONE WAY.

I am so crazy excited. Did you see who is going to be there? Alice McDermott, Salman Rushdie, Marilynne Robinson, Walter Wangerin, Jr., Donald Miller. I mean, come on. I think I'm about to die of happiness.
I found out about the conference this morning and registered for it this afternoon. I leave in 12 days... Now, I just gotta make some quick cash.
I wonder if people still buy teeth.

I am so thrilled for your adventure. I do not think you're being a bad mother by any stretch of the imagination! If we never did anything for ourselves, what a sorry state our lives would be!
