Signification

We are naming the world together;
"Ox. Giraffe. Sparrow."

We give birth to a pull, stretch, twitter.

We are naming our needs;
"Food," grunt. "Clothing," grunt. "Shelter," grunt.

We are fed, clothed, housed. Grunt.

We are naming our desire;
"Beautiful. Talented. Intelligent."

We are defined, valued, sorted.

We are naming our disappointments;
"Loneliness" (just a little). Guilt (it's not my fault). Brokenness (I will heal myself)."

We are tidying our messes.

We are stumbling into a mumbled moaning.

We are marble-mouthed, garbled grunting, wordless wildernesses.
We are silent.

We our burying dead animals, we are naked, we are dissatisfied, we are disasters.
We are wordless.

We are newborn in the garden.
We are blinking like infant animals.
We are pink and soft, clenched-fisted, mewling.
We are waiting to be named.
