I love my life.
It's good to be able to say that.
I feel so round, most days. Perhaps jagged and pock-marked, but round and whole. Yesterday, during my nine hour paint-a-thon, I was thinking about my life in chunks of time and seasons, and in specifics. Besides the heart breaking amount of pain of the past three years, I have: had a daughter, gone to Bolivia, written and published a novel, returned to school, gone to England, gone to Italy, seen the Christmas tree in Boston, won an award for my book, blown with the wind and my desires and my daughter, for three weeks of camping, took a 63 hour bus ride to Grand Rapids to meet my favourite writer, speechafied to hundreds of kids about my book. Landed a job loving hurt kids. Learned to live on my own. Sleep on my own. Buy groceries on my own. Watch movies on my own. Be a parent on my own. Plan my life on my own. Love my life on my own.
It's been good, guys. Ya, it's been dark, too. Sometimes, I'm sure God has been childishly careless with my heart. It's a pretty beaten up organ, now. But, if God had a face I could touch today, I would put my palms against both of his cheeks, put my nose to his, and say, "Thank you".

What is title of book?
i am not authorized to view your website, bear. but i bet you're spectacular.
"the curious adventures of india sophia"
Sad! It's a bear with spectacle-patterned fur. Very exciting and apparently elusive in the realm of Angela's browser.
I am going to need to find you on amazon...
