it came that way. oh, sigh. i've been lusting after that typewriter for about half a year now. it comes with a plaid interior, carrying case. i found it at a site for an antique store in toronto.
ya. santa's gotta be sick of lugging those suckers, year after year, under every dreamy-eyed girl's, tree. but, pink! c'mon. he can't blame us, really.
go dig around the junque cellar on whyte ave. i got a grey underwood (with matching grey carrying case) a couple of years back that has some of the best typing action i've encountered in a portable.
of course, it doesn't have the style that beauty above holds, but it did earn me enough $$ to go see a movie when i used to busk with it on streetcorners...

That's just the kind of typewriter I used to hope Santa would bring me....a few years ago when I was 14 or 15.
