Oh thank heavens we are not the little zealots of 3rd grade any more: I had just seen the movie "A Thief in the Night" (a rapture tale of the Pentecostal variety) and had just evangelized to my whole class that unless they were born again, they were going to get their heads chopped off by a guillotine. I believed I even used a chopping motion in front of the class. Yes, I, too, was worried for their misguided and damned souls. Obviously, a phone call was placed to my mother, and I learned what was "appropriate" for evangelism.
Can it even be that I am the same person? Glory be, and thank heavens that I'm not!

Mmm your words are balm to the soul, your expression of faith is beautiful, how wonderful that our faith has the potential to be continually evolving.
I've missed you, Angela! Just read your essay-- how articulate, how encouraging to us fellow travelers.
I miss you, too. And I've never seen Hot Lips Hulehan's name written out before.
